What is Spira Care?

Spira Care is a unique combination of care and coverage all in one. Blue KC offers health plans that give members exclusive access to nine Spira Care Centers for their advanced primary care needs. Members have access to an array of services like routine preventive care, sick care, chronic medical condition management, pediatric care, behavioral health consultations, labs, x-rays and more at Spira Care Centers at no or low cost ^*. Members also have access to Care Guides for help answering questions regarding benefits, cost and care management.

^* Blue KC members enrolled in plans (without a Health Savings Account) with exclusive access to Spira Care Centers will have no costs for any procedure provided at a Spira Care Center. Blue KC members enrolled in plans (with a Health Savings Account or HSA Eligible) with exclusive access to Spira Care Centers will have an affordable charge for services. Preventive services are covered at 100 percent.
